Hypnotik-Radio Rules and Regulations

1. Hypnotik-Radio is an Internet Radio Station which uses SHOUTcast as a server source and services being provided by MediaONAIR.com & HostingTheUniverse.com

a. Hypnotik-Radio is owned by “Hosting the Universe” and has panel lists that makeup all the decisions for Hypnotik-Radio.

i. Derek aka Dizzel – A owner of Hosting The Universe & Hypnotik Radio, panel list #1.

ii. Holly aka NymphoBytch – A General Manager of Hypnotik-Radio, panel list #2.

iii. Matt aka Knight Light – A Manager of Hypnotik-Radio, panel list #3.

iv. Jackie aka Sweetie – A Manager of Hypnotik-Radio, panel list #4.

v. Cory aka Cory – A Station Analyst of Hypnotik-Radio, panel list #5.

b. Every decision that is considered at Hypnotik-Radio is done by voting and the question will be a ‘YES’ or ‘NO’ question and a 3 out of 5 votes are required for a decision is to be finalized.

c. Before a DJ can be considered you must fill out an application and will be voted on by the panel list of Hypnotik-Radio.

i. A phone or Skype interview maybe required before you’re accepted to the Hypnotik-Radio staff, but the panel list makes the final decision.

ii. When applying for an application your records will be kept for up to a year and could be possible consideration for staff position on Hypnotik-Radio, re-submitting more than one application will not get you a DJ position, if you’re updating your information than re-submit.

2. Hypnotik-Radio has strict rules in regards to being part of the radio station whether it’s on air, chat room, instant messaging or anywhere, thus including being as professional as possible and no drama.

a. Every DJ will appear for their scheduled time slot.

b. Must report 30 minutes early to the current on-air DJ to be updated and are able to take air.

c. Show respect to all DJs, listeners and people in the chat room, thus includes out of chat.

d. Trash talking about other radio stations and staff is completely forbidden and will not be tolerated in the chat room or on air.

e. If you’re unable to fill your scheduled time slot, please contact a manager.

f. If you need a cover you must hit up a manager atleast 30 minutes before your show..

g. If you’re a scheduled DJ and a no show, no calling or drop air constantly you may be released from Hypnotik-Radio.

h. If a listener complains about the music a DJ is playing, you’re not allowed to retaliate! In other words, do not argue with the listeners. There is a mute button in chat.

i. It’s up to you whether or not to play a requested song, if the song doesn’t isn’t part of the DJ’s genre or format of the show, DJ does not have to play it.

j. As explained in Section 2, anything personal, please keep it out of Hypnotik-Radio, thus includes on-air, chat room, instant messengers and anywhere that you may mention Hypnotik-Radio, we’re not going to be affiliated with any drama, if we see any and it continues, you may be released from Hypnotik-Radio.

k. If you’re on staff with Hypnotik-Radio, you’re with Hypnotik-Radio — you may not DJ for anyone else, all though if you have DJ with someone in the past, that’s fine as long as you’re not with them now, you’ll be a loyal Hypnotik-Radio staff member. (if your syndicated you must talk with the owners first and explain)

l. If you miss your 2 (two) or more shifts in one week, you may be released from Hypnotik-Radio.

3. All decisions for hiring and releasing are done by the panel with a 3 out 5 votes.

a. You may get a warning in regards to what you’re doing wrong, please advise this will be your only warning than the question for concern by the panel list will have to make decisions on the release of you being part of Hypnotik-Radio.

4. Hypnotik-Radio has adopted a new system called, “Staff Infractions” which was adopted by the panel list on Wednesday, July 14, 2010.

a. Every time a staff member breaks a rule, an infraction will be issued and a record of it will be kept to keep track on how many infraction’s each staff member has received.

b. Hypnotik-Radio has the right to not inform the staff member who has broken a rule and give an infraction, simply you may not be notified – but as a courtesy we may notify the staff member.

c. The panel has set a limit on infractions for each staff member and if this limit has been reached, the panel will have to make decision of possibly releasing the staff member.

d. The limit of infractions that can be accumulated before being considered of being released is 10 infractions.

5. Hypnotik-Radio has very simple strict rules that were adopted by the panel on October 16, 2006 – Abide these rules and their will no trouble or drama and Hypnotik-Radio will run smoothly and be online and grow strong every day.

We can terminate, change, & basically do what we please without notice. That is rare but due to some situations it has happened.
